Rockwill Group Hosts Philippine Power Delegation: A Journey into Smart Manufacturing of 24kV Reclosers and a New Chapter for Southeast Asian Grid Resilience

Rockwill Group recently welcomed a senior technical delegation from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). The visit focused on deep technical exchanges regarding the full-chain manufacturing process of 24kV smart reclosers. The delegation witnessed the entire production flow, from high-precision stamping and vacuum interrupter encapsulation to the integration of smart control modules. This visit lays a solid foundation for Rockwill’s products to be fully integrated into the Philippines' "Grid Resilience Upgrade Program."

As a benchmark Chinese enterprise deeply rooted in the medium-to-high voltage distribution sector, Rockwill consistently drives product innovation through a "Environmental Adaptability + Intelligent O&M" strategy. Our 24kV recloser series has successfully served power grid projects in over 40 countries across Southeast Asia and Latin America. The Philippines is currently accelerating the implementation of its "National Grid Modernization Roadmap" to address challenges such as frequent typhoons, high line failure rates, and low efficiency in manual inspections. With proven results—including a 50% increase in fault self-healing efficiency and a 65% reduction in O&M costs—Rockwill's reclosers have become a key solution for enhancing the resilience of the Philippine power distribution network.

At the conclusion of the tour, NGCP Technical Director Maria Santos stated: "Rockwill reclosers' stable performance during the typhoon season in Luzon has been impressive. We plan to adopt these products in six new smart distribution projects in Cebu, Davao, and other regions. We also look forward to Rockwill establishing a technical service center in Manila to provide localized training and rapid response support."
